JOB TITLE: Accountant

We are looking for a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Accountant to analyze company financial information and prepare balance sheets reflecting current and long-term assets and liabilities, annual profit and loss statements, fund flow and cash flow statements and other consolidated accounting reports. Analyze company operations, costs, revenues and market trends and project future revenues and expenditures using statistical procedures including correlation and regression analysis. Analyze accounting and financial data and provide information to construct annual budgets with a view to reducing costs and increasing profits. Track deviations from the budget and recommend mid-course corrections. Apprise management of company financial health, including any cash flow problems. Establish, implement and modify accounting systems as needed for all company locations. Prepare annual and quarterly federal and state tax returns. Assist outside auditors in the preparation of audited tax returns. Will supervise one Accountant, one Accounts Payable Clerk and one Bank Accounts Reconciliation/Sales Commission Clerk.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
  • Knowledgeable in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Access).

JOB TITLE: Technician

We are looking for a highly motivated Technician with two years experience in field pre-wire & terminations, equipment setup (A/V systems, DVD players, control systems), calibrate systems, install in-wall speakers, and trouble-shooting. Applicant must have basic knowledge of construction practices in order to be able to install wiring in retrofit situations. Additional skills such as programming universal remotes are a plus.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Installation of wiring per engineering drawings.
  • Installation and basic setup of Home Theater systems.
  • Responsible for wiring and trim-out phases of installation for systems including voice, data, security, zoned audio as well as video.
  • Understand and implement directions for an audio/video installation project from start-to-finish.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and electronics theories.
  • Installation of all types of commercial audio, video and satellite systems.
  • Signs off on the parts to be taken onsite.
  • Contact clients when they are on their way and sales people (before, during and after the job).
  • Create invoices after each job and make sure to put all the parts used (including part/model numbers).
  • Write reports for every job.
  • Must understand networking.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of one year in the A/V industry or related field or schooling.
  • Must possess the ability to work closely with others and occasionally without supervision.
  • Mandatory overtime may be assigned during particularly busy weeks or during periods of company growth.

JOB TITLE:  Installation Supervisor

The Installation Supervisor manages, and provides support to the installation teams. This position requires an individual capable of accurately assessing the needs of new projects, as well as service calls. This position requires the ability to deal with our customers in a professional manner, taking into consideration both the client and the company. Internally, it will be the charge of the Installation Supervisor to institute a training and continued education curriculum for new and existing technicians.


SPECIFIC TASKS:

  • Supervise all installation personnel including Installation Technician Trainee, Level 1 & 2.
  • Provide labor estimates to the Installation/Scheduling Manager for all installations.
  • Develop and implement training programs associated with all aspects of installation techniques and product operation.
  • Contact all clients requiring service calls.
  • Maintain installation quality and consistency standards.
  • Enforce tool and inventory controls.
  • Provide support to Project and Engineering Managers.
  • Maintain technician invoice and time sheet accuracy.
  • Ability to document problems and suggest solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of five years in the A/V industry or related field or schooling with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
  • Must be able to provide strong leadership and motivation to the installation teams.
  • Must have an understanding of installation techniques and time requirements.
  • Must be able to generate labor reports and track installation performance and quality.
  • Must have good communication and writing skills.
  • Mandatory overtime may be assigned during particularly busy weeks or during periods of company growth.
