The C2NIVDS24X24 Intercom Video Distribution Switcher provides a convenient facility for the distribution of security cameras and other video sources throughout the home or office over inexpensive CAT5E cable. A perfect companion to the C2NIADS30X24 Intercom Audio Distribution Switcher, the C2NIVDS24X24 distributes video signals to up to 16 touchpanels from any of 16 cameras and 8 video door stations. It also integrates with Crestron's CNXPVID8X3 and CNPVID8X4 Video Distribution Switchers to allow extensive sharing of video resources among touchpanels and television monitors.
Features

The C2NIVDS24X24
is built around a fully programmable 24 X 24 video crosspoint matrix, providing the complete freedom to route any input to any output. Sixteen unbalanced composite inputs are provided to accept video signals from cameras and other video sources. In addition, 8 CAT5 video inputs accommodate the balanced signals from up to 8 video door stations. Door station and entry gate cameras are easily implemented using the C2NIIF Intercom Interface (sold separately).

Using any combination of unbalanced inputs and outputs,
the C2NIVDS24X24 can be interconnected with Crestron's CNXPVID8X3 and CNXPVID8X4 video distribution switchers to enable the sharing of whole-house video resources. Additional system configurations may be possible by interfacing with various Crestron CAT5 video products via the unit's CAT5 balanced video ports. (Limitations may apply; please review all relevant documentation thoroughly.)

The C2NIVDS24X24 supports
both NTSC and PAL formats. Each CAT5 input includes software programmable input compensation to maximize the quality of the balanced signal. The C2NIVDS24X24 functions as a slave device to any 2-Series control system communicating via the Cresnet control network.
